Lesson Note
One more thought before you move on: Don’t wait until you’re lying on the proverbial family-room floor before you ask for help. I’ve learned that the best time to build relationships with wise people is before the crisis comes. Ask questions when the stakes are small. Invite someone to coffee. Admit what you don’t know. Build the habit of asking now, so when life’s harder questions arrive, you already know who you can call.
Reflect & Apply
What keeps you from asking for help—and what might become possible if you stopped letting that hold you back?
